What To Expect At

Your First Appointment

Whether you visit us at our San Luis office or in Paso Robles, you will always be greeted by a friendly face. Both of our offices are warm and welcoming. Before you come in for your appointment, we encourage you to print and fill out your intake form prior to your visit.

To begin your appointment, we will go over the intake form you filled out and we will complete a questionnaire together. This will give us some insight into your medical history, family history, and your hearing ability.

Once we’ve gotten to know you a little better, then we will begin with an ear exam. Using an otoscope, we will look inside your ears to ensure the eardrum and ear canal look healthy.

Next is the hearing exam, which won’t take long and is painless.

After the hearing evaluation we will go over the results and talk about the treatment plan we feel would help you best.

If you decide to move forward with the treatment plan, we will fit you with the correct hearing aid device, provide counseling, and schedule you for a follow up appointment to make any adjustments.

Hearing Solutions is a preferred hearing care provider for the NFL Players Association Professional Athletes Foundation. Through this partnership, the PAF aims to bring better hearing to former professional athletes and their fans across the nation. Together, we spread awareness, help players in need of hearing care, and collect data on the connection between hearing loss and professional football.
